aww you had to ask so many times. i wanted to answer you: YES YES! There's a timer. I remember my first time; I wish someone had bothered to inform me of the details before scrambling around and stuff.
What I learned: bring someone who can read japanese.
HAHA OMG YOU NOTICED! The whole time I was thinking "Oh dang this is being recorded...me being ignored"...but it's all right because I can understand that they're too focused on getting the thing done 'cause they give you so little time.
