There must be a compromise between no flash and flash for people shots. Maybe use fill flash and lower the flash power by a couple steps.

Is it just like an art gallery open for the public? UCI has cool galleries.
Yes it's free and it's here until June 6 so maybe if you guys come pick me up early or something I can show it to you. They make little bloops and bleeps and whatnot.
