This was a short story that I wrote on June 9, 2006 as a final for my Junior AP English class (as opposed to a music video). The prompt was to write an original story in which we write ourselves into three stories that we had read in class in the style of the original authors. I was pretty pleased with it, honestly, but I still only got a B+ in the class  plus my teacher never returned my souvenirs(I don't think she ever read it). As you will see in the story, I had to take certain items from the story and then present them to her in a box.

Reading it three years later, I feel it held up pretty well. I still get my humor, but I wish that I had proof-read it more and clarified some things. I also think I telegraphed who the bad guy was way too early. But it was my first completed short story and just the fact that I completed it made me feel good. I wrote practically all of it on a spiral-bound notebook with a ballpoint pen and it was just overall a good experience.
